Earning Creds
As a user how do I earn Creds?

You can now earn Creds in multiple ways!

  1. Shop via our website
  2. Post a deal
  3. Share a deal

How can I tell if i'm earning Creds?

At the top of our website you'll see your current Cred balance

On Shopping:

  1. Always click on the "Shop Now" or "Shop This Deal" buttons located on Shopcred to open the retailers online store.
  2. Just shop as you normally would
  3. You will receive an email from Shopcred notifying you of your Creds earned; generally within 1 and 48 hours from purchase.

Through website interaction:

  1. We'll automatically assign you Creds when you post a new eligible deal or share an eligible deal.

How do I track my Cred earnings?

Visit your account pages to see which stores you've clicked through and your Cred balance. For sales made, once the store notifies us of your purchase, which will generally take 1 to 48 hours, we'll update your Cred balance and send you an email.

What if I earn Creds than return, exchange or cancel the purchase?

Returned, cancelled and exchanged orders will void Creds earned and they will be deducted from your Cred balance.

To make sure that you will get your Creds on any exchanged orders, after returning the order you will need to place an entirely new order at the online store after clicking through from Shopcred.

How do I redeem my Creds?

Simply just click on 'Redeem' and choose your payment method.

All confirmed and available Cred balances that total over 2000 Creds are available for redemption.

What is the difference between 'Pending' and 'Available' Creds?

'Pending' is when your purchase has been tracked by the store yet your Creds are 'pending' prior to final confirmation from the store. Final confirmation is usually received after the return period of the goods or services has passed and/or the transaction is verified by the store, this generally takes anywhere from 14 days to 3 months.

'Available' is when the return period of the goods has passed and/or the transaction is verified by the store or Shopcred.

Once your account has over 2000 Creds approved, you can redeem them by clicking 'Redeem Creds' and choosing your payment method.

Please be advised that once you have submitted or updated your existing bank account details you will need to wait 48 hours before submitting a payment request. Once requested, payments may generally take up to 5 business days to be processed.

My Creds have been reported lower than expected?

You can only earn Creds on the purchase price excluding GST and shipping, delivery and any other such costs.

If you still believe the Creds are incorrect please submit an enquiry on the help page under your account.

Deal Posting
How do I post a deal?

Sign in to your Shopcred account and from the left side menu click on the 'plus' icon; enter in the deal URL you are sharing and submit. A new panel will appear for you to enter in the deal information such as title, description, category, coupon code, price, currency, start and end dates.

We'll auto fill some of the details however you can edit or add your own into the deal. Submit the deail - and then watch your deal be voted on and attain feedback.

Can I apply formatting to a deal?

You may enter in Markdown code to format deal description

How do I delete my deal?

You can not remove the deal yourself. You will need to contact a moderator and let them know why you want to remove your deal. It is up to the Moderators discretion as to whether they will remove the deal or not.

What things can I not post?
  1. Anything against our Terms Of Service
  2. Deals already listed on Shopcred
  3. Anything that is not considered a shopping related deal
  4. Affiliate/Referral Links
  5. Links to private sales
  6. Links to banned, illegal or inappropriate websites or content.
  7. Personal Attacks
  8. Foul Language

How do I vote on a deal?

If you like the deal then click on the 'love' icon - if you don't like the deal than don't vote - simple. But please be responsible in your use of the rating system.

Do you allow shilled or manufactured votes?

We do not tolerate manufactured votes, these are defined as any vote made that is not made in good faith based upon the merit of the deal. This can include, but are not limited to:

  1. Automated votes
  2. Solicited votes
  3. Retaliatory votes.

Moderators can, at the their own discretion, delete any posts that are against our Terms Of Service or deemed to be inappropriate.

Any such abuse could result in:

  1. Suspension of the users Shopcred account
  2. Termination of users Shopcred account
